HITS CHARLOTTE
Charlotte, NC, Monday, September 18, 2006 – Hot artist leaves L.A. for Charlotte and is taking the city by storm. Michael Bond, a talented fine artist, muralist and designer of all types, announces his relocation to Charlotte, North Carolina, as he continues to work for clients all over the country. His work can currently be seen from glitzy Las Vegas to the walls of businesses and residential homes throughout California and the West Coast.
Michael, a Venezuelan/Ukranian/Jewish/American artist, has been passionate about the arts all of his life. He was a part-time artist while supporting two growing children, but in the past 2 years has dedicated himself completely to his art and is loving every minute of it.
“I love what I do”, says Mr. Bond, as he continues: “Recently I’ve had the opportunity to paint several murals in California and Nevada. I’m really living a dream, a life-long dream.” Mr. Bond has recently completed an amazing 400 square foot mural on the ceiling of a private residence in Green Valley, Nevada. It is a beautiful underwater scene with ruins of an ancient city, divers, treasures, a mermaid who holds the key and much more.
He has just started the design phase of another incredible work, a nearly 300 square foot mural on an octagon shaped ceiling with side panels. The mural is in an exclusive residence (Marvin Creek – South Charlotte) and will showcase various scenic and historical locations from around the world – locations that have been visited by the homeowner in her extensive world travels. Mr. Bond creates and designs all kinds of themes for his clients and will travel upon request.
“During the past 20 years I’ve also created hundreds of paintings utilizing different mediums: watercolor, oil, acrylics, buon fresco and others.” Adds Mr. Bond. Many of his paintings have been showcased in exhibitions throughout the country and highlighted in various publications. These include the corporate offices of Kraft/General Foods in New Jersey, Y&R Advertising in Irvine, CA and International Artist Magazine.
As a graphic design consultant for various companies, studios and advertising agencies, Michael has also had the opportunity to create a unique and diverse portfolio. From edgy, dynamic concepts targeting the younger audience, to corporate identity packages with a traditional feel and pieces targeting the growing Hispanic Market. This versatile talent and unique style and vision has been extremely valuable in the development of presentations and marketing campaigns for clients such as Broadcom, Verizon, Shea Homes, Cendant, Allergan, The Mexican Cheese Producers, ABS Computers, Zepro, PCC and many others.
“Michael is a designer with a strategic mind as well”, says Barbara Ruano, owner of PlanetWoot, LLC a design and advertising group in Sunset Beach, CA specializing in the Hispanic Market (planetwoot.com). “He understands client needs well and easily adapts his work to different consumer audiences.
