These are acrylic paintings that I was moved to produce, each in response to some circumstance or condition in my life that I felt powerless to address by more conventional means.

People often ask me what my work means, but since it is so closely connected to the essence--that is to say the disconcerting emptiness--of my own life, I would have to say that my work is simply a means of confronting the problem of my own existence.
